I have grown to be the center of our globes.
Power came back to me as it left the robes.
I reach beyond time and space itself,
Yet can be found on almost any bookshelf.
I am an ever present field throughout history,
But it took a great empire to use me properly.
Some may hate me, others may love me,
But it means nothing, for I am life's emcee.
Study me long enough and earn a degree,
Or ignore me long enough to live in misery.
I am everywhere, controlling everything.
For all great minds, I am the wind beneath their wing.
